Government go-ahead

The State Government announced a $550 million funding commitment to begin planning for a new Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

This important commitment will enable planning for the new hospital, and is in addition to the Government’s $50 million investment to upgrade our existing site.

The next stage of planning for the hospital will involve strong engagement with hospital staff, consumers, the community and key stakeholders.
